Wow, this is the first day in a MONTH that I don't have something to sew for Beauty and the Beast.

I think I'll go sew a new and improved hoop skirt ;)

Tonight is opening night. Here's to hoping that I don't stick the pink bow on Belle's head when she's wearing the gold dress, or something.

Wow, this has been a whirlwind of a week. Dress rehersals began on Monday, as did my two college classes. I've got Drawing 1 on Monday/Wednesday and Trig on Tues/thursday, all early in the morning. I've been coming home, sewing, picking sister up from school, going to rehersal, and coming home around 10 pm. *yawn*. Tomorrow there is one more dress ( Read more... )

The show is going really well. I took a ton of pictures at dress rehersal tonight, but I am too tired to upload them all now. Here are a few, in the meantime. They're not the best...my camera doesn't do well with movement and darkness.

Hey jenthompson  and other Dallas people, the Golden d'Ore $1clearance room sale starts Saturday (well, tomorrow for those on their email list). I found silk, linen and wool blends in there last time, all for $1 a yard!

I have to get up at 6:30  tomorrow, and it is already past midnight. Ooops! But, most of Belle's blue bodice is finished. I just hope it fits ( Read more... )

Only one more napkin ring to go!!!!!

So, 3 out of 4 finished corselets fit, which is pretty good, considering I was working from measurements that someone else took. I would have more of them done by now but I just got more fabric. Ah, its not too bad of a job though. I'm making three underbust waist cincher type corsets for the "silly girls"(the three in the movie who are all "Oh, ( Read more... )
